Check the cap against your actual annual spend in that category before picking a card for its headline rate.

Will a business credit card affect my personal credit?

It depends on the issuer and the card. Most traditional bank business cards require a personal guarantee, so missed payments can show up on your personal credit, and some issuers report account activity to personal credit bureaus even when payments are on time. Charge-card fintechs like Brex and Ramp are structured with no personal guarantee and typically don't touch personal credit at all — check each issuer's terms, since this varies card to card.

What's the difference between a business credit card and a charge card?

A credit card lets you carry a balance month to month at an APR. A charge card (Amex Business Platinum, Capital One Spark Cash Plus, Brex, Ramp) must be paid in full each cycle — there's no revolving balance or published APR, which usually comes with a higher or more flexible spending limit in exchange.
